About Our Client
My client is a leading EU retailers specialising in kitchen utensils. In light of the fast growing business, they are now calling for a Senior Merchandiser to join the team and oversee the manufacturing production, vendor sourcing and development functions.
Job Description
Responsible for Product Development and manufacturing activities, from sampling to order follow up, inventory management
Products focus: Kitchen Utensils (minor: Electronic products, thermometers, scale etc.)
Individual contributor in HK and closely work China merchandisers and vendors
Ensure raw material quality and cost that comply with organisation objective
Manage factory output performances in terms of product quality, on time delivery and mass production schedule
The Successful Applicant
6 years experiences working in Trading/ Manufacturing companies
Strong product exposure in Kitchen Utensils
Experience stationing in China factory & specialize in gardening items are advantage
Good sense of marketing trend and product knowledge with particular raw materials
Fluency in spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
Strong communication and organisation skills
Able to plan and multitask, work on various projects and with multiple buyers at the same time.
